If you want to branch out of health care, the RCMP is hiring an Information Systems Application Specialist.  The educational requirements are just high school graduation, so we should be good on that!  Experience in using databases and extracting information is required.  Understanding of record management, security awareness and information sharing an asset.

The Surrey Cancer Agency is hiring a Health Record Technician. 

BCCDC has a posting for a Training Analyst, Public Health Information Systems.  This is a degree position for a PHIS Super user who can be a point of contact for the health authorities.

The posting for two Clinical Data Coordinators at BCCH-Vancouver is still up.  These are HRA/HIM positions.


Fraser Health has a position for an Analyst, Registration Standards & Data Quality.  The educational requirement is for graduation from a certified program related to health sciences.  Skills include data and database management.

Fraser Health (New Westminster) also has a posting for Analyst, Systems Analysis.  This is a degree level position for managing data and databases. 

There are three positions for Business Analysts in Decision Support at Fraser Health.  Here and here, and here (pop health emphasis on the third one).  These are degree level positions.
